What does Breathwork mean?

Breathwork is an active breathing meditation. Which means you breathe in a specific pattern to drop into the meditative space. This meditation is known to assist in reducing overwhelm and stress, destroying negative beliefs, and thought patterns, as well as detoxing the soul.

What happens during the session? How does it work?
What does it feel like?

As we begin your session we will determine what you would like to focus on. There may be a few questions I ask or we dive right in. The client will lie down and may choose to be covered with a blanket for warmth. The breathwork begins. The first few minutes of the meditation you will most likely experience some resistance which will display in various forms like yawning or excessive mind chatter. Once you’ve surpassed the resistance you will arrive at the active phase. Your body may feel tingly or warm. Everyone experiences this differently. Once the active phase is complete you will move into a resting phase. At the end of the session we will discuss what you experienced (if you feel called to share). After the session I recommend to eat some dark chocolate and drink some water. These meditations can be quite intense so I always recommend taking it slow for a few hours right after the session.

What are the session policies?

Payment must be received prior to the session. Cancellations must be communicated 24 hours prior to your session or will be charged in full.

I’m a first time visitor, what do I need to know and what should I wear?

You should arrive a few minutes before the start of your session to complete the paperwork. If you are late for your session, we will do our best to accommodate you for the time you have left without penalising the following client. When the session begins we will discuss your area of focus and begin with the breath work. 

You can wear whatever you like as long as you’re comfortable. Women want to make sure their bra isn’t too restrictive. You will be lying down for the session. A blanket is available if you may feel cold during the session.

I need to cancel my session, what do I need to do?

Any cancellations must be made 24 hours prior to your scheduled appointment time. You can cancel our session with the link provided in your confirmation email. 

All appointments missed or not cancelled within this time frame will be charged in full.

Why do you believe in Breathwork?

Breathwork has allowed me to discover the blocks I didn’t know existed and clear them with ease. I finally found a tool that permits me to let go of what holds me back and creates a kind of detox for the soul that I haven’t been able to find anywhere in the world.

how long is a session?

Sessions are usually 60 minutes for individuals. Couples are 90 minutes.
Group lengths vary by subject, but are between 90 and 120 minutes.

I trained with the renown teacher, David Elliot, who has been practicing this form of meditation for almost three decades.
